13th Squadron, Royal Flying Corps

Died of wounds on the 5th December 1915. Pilot on BE2c. Shot down by ennemy aircraft near Bapaume during a photographic patrol. His observer, 1st AM W.H. Cox, was taken prisoner. A second BE2c of the Squadron was shot down during this patrol with the loss of its crew (Source : The sky their battlefield of Trevor Henshaw).
