139th Squadron, Royal Air Force.

Killed in action on the 21st May 1943.

The 139th (Jamaica) Squadron, a bomber squadron equipped with De Havilland Mosquito, carried out low-level raids over occupied territories and Germany.

Jocelyn Friendly was navigator and the 139th Squadron was based at Marham.
