Grave II.A.42. Son of Charles Hurlin, of Main Rd, Wynberg, Cape Province (Source : C.W.G.C.). Wounded in Delville Wood on the 16th July 1916. Killed in action on the 12th April 1917 in the improvised and disastrous attack of the 9th (Scottish) Division on the German positions in the East of Fampoux. The 1st SAI lost 2 officers and 203 men. |
