Grave II.B.6. Son of the late John Ward Stevens and Annie Florence Stevens, of Port Elizabeth, Cape Province (Source : C.W.G.C.). Killed in action on the 12th April 1917 in the improvised and disastrous attack of the 9th (Scottish) Division on the German positions in the East of Fampoux. The 1st SAI lost 2 officers and 203 men. |
