125th Siege Battery, South African Heavy Artillery

Killed in action on the 23rd April 1917.

The 125th Battery went forward a mile East of Tilloy-les-Mofflaines on the 16th April 1917. Here it was much exposed and three days later it moved back to the wood of Tilloy where its guns were constantly in action by day and night.
