Grave I.B.24. Son of Isaac and Alice Sarah Hulley, of Vaalfontein, East Griqualand. (Source : C.W.G.C.). Died of wounds on the 13th July 1916. Age 27. On the night of the 10th/11th July 1916, the portion of the 2nd S.A.I. in Bernafay Wood was relieved by two companies of the 4th S.A.I. and returned to its original camping site in the vicinity of Cambridge Copse. On the 13th July, the South African Infantry Brigade concentrated in the Talus Boisé. |
